A Poet and a Scientist
G. Jordan Maclay has had a lifelong curiosity in understanding the fundamental behavior of people, including himself, as well as the fundamental behavior of the physical world. His interest in self-exploration led to a study of psychology, philosophy, spirituality, and art. He is a quantum physicist by training, who has done seminal research in quantum energy and microsensors for four decades. During retirement he became a Blackbelt in Shaolin Kempo Karate and a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
"This combination of poetry, prose, and art is like few other books on the shelf. Combining the macrocosm and the microcosm in thoughtful ways, with transparency about his own struggles to find deeper meaning in his work, this is a confident collection. The flow of ideas is undeniably unique; the epic scale of the themes being discussed, as well as the sensitivity of the poet's approach, results in a memorable and thought-provoking journey through science, poetry, art, and philosophy." Transformations truly evokes the soul of life experiences; it relates to the wonders and enigma of living a human life; very expressive and provocative; thoughtful.
